Calcium Plus - Calcium Hardness Increaser

You must always check the calcium hardness in your pool water to ensure that the water is not too soft for the other chemicals to work properly. Swimming pool water that is low in calcium becomes corrosive, slowly deteriorating your swimming pool by staining, scarring or biting into pool liners, pool fittings and other pieces of swimming pool hardware and equipment. Often, if the calcium is too low, pool walls can feel slimy and the chlorine has a hard time working to its full potential. If calcium is too high, equipment can calcify and clog. Calcium Plus is Calcium Chloride that increases the total calcium hardness and calcium levels in pool water.
